Nintendo’s E3 conference this year was somewhat lacking. We saw New Super Mario Bros Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Wii Fit Plus, the Wii Sensor (a baffling product that will make them millions), and finally one of the biggest surprises of the year, Metroid: Other M.

Buy the game yourself, buy it for a loved one, request it for a charity, I don’t care what you do as long as it ends with Uncharted 2 being bought and played by somebody.

Now it’s time to do the same with Nintendo’s other juggernaut, the scrappy little Nintendo DS. I received my DS during the first Christmas it was released but it wasn’t until the next November that I’d actually purchase a game for it. After that, man did the games get good. Here are 5 Must-Own Nintendo DS Games.

Go ahead and get this one here.

Okay, I’ve found a game that comes close to Monopoly’s sheer empire of editions: Scene-It. Actually, it should be spelled “Scene-It?” but I can’t bring myself to use a question mark in a name on a constant basis.
