About Us

Hey, welcome to Toy-TMA, a site devoted to all things wonderful regarding toys, video games, comics, cartoons, and a little bit of movies now and again. Wondering what the TMA stands for? Well, let’s just assume it just stands for “Too Much Awesome.” That’s what we do anyway.

For advertising, promotion and partnership opportunities, email us at info@toy-tma.com.

Toy-TMA updates weekly every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday early in the morning. Our head writer and editor, Chris Pranger, tends to ramble on about things as much as possible whenever he gets a chance to write something, but deep down it’s just because he likes the subject matter. He’s even prone to comment back on comments, usually in a nice way. He is aided by Kyle Martinak, and the occasional guest writer as well.

Toy-TMA is still growing and remains in constant flux, but we’re always aiming to provide good weekly content. If you want to help us out in any way, send Chris an e-mail with tips, comments, or concerns to chris@toy-tma.com. You can also follow him on Twitter to get site updates and more.

Do you have any idea where I can go for product recall insurance coverage for a toy manufacturing business?

I am the Marketing Coordinator for GreenLight Toys an officially licensed die cast manufacturer and marketer. I have looked through your site and would love for you to be able to have up-to-date information regarding GreenLight Toys. Could I add you too my list of media contact and that way you can receive press releases and images for new items we are promoting? If you want to send me that email contact I can do the rest!
    Thank you,

    Hi there,
I am trying to find out how to become a toy reviewer? Are there programs out there or do I need to approach the manufacturers?
    Thanks

Pretty much all you need is a website and an opinion. We don’t get any special treatment here at Toy-TMA specifically from any manufacturer, so any review we do is usually based on experiences conducted firsthand and out-of-pocket. I’m not sure if that’s the norm for toy review sites, but that’s about it for us here.

I just found your website while I did a Google search for origination of wood toys. The information on your About Us page sounds as if your wesite will have lots of great information for me. I’m hoping I can learn more about traditional toys as well as wooden toys so I will be better able to provide informative information to the readers of my blog. I am also looking for another drop ship supplier of quality wooded toys that I can add to my online toy store, All I Can Imagine. Thank you.

I’m sorry, I really don’t know the best place to check for recall insurance. I’d recommend asking an insurance agent to at least get pointed in the right direction.

I am a game board inventor, recently filed for a patent. I am looking for a partner to publish the game. Can you please suggest if this is the right forum for this? If not, can someone plaese suggest a good forum to find a manufacturer and publisher to market the game?

    Thank you.

While Toy-TMA isn’t necessarily a bad place to discuss the game, I probably isn’t going to be the most useful to you either, just because it would have to come down to the luck of a game publisher visiting out website and seeing your comment. I wish I had some good recommendations for where to turn, but I sadly do not.
