A fold out ramp, for yellow ambulance, door for pontoon boat, retractable helipad, and top that had a yellow plastic extendind observation post. The set came with ambulance, orange figure, boat, black outfitted figure, helicopter, yellow figure. The set came with acouple exta yellow figures, also came with green commando figure w/machine gun and radio backback. I think matchbox sold other vehicles as well.Including a jeep, as well as a 6 tire all terrain vehicle white outfitted driver. Later they produced vehicle and figure sets that were larger than the originals.I still have the vehicles the mountain is long gone

I had the mac commando playset as a kid, greatest toy ever. Not much help, I know, but that's all I can do, other than tell you to Google around for it for a few hours.

Pretty much the only advice I can offer is check eBay, Craigslist, and Amazon for any actions you can, plus frequent flea markets and garage sales. The toys were made in 1993, same year as the movie. I have a want ad on ioffer and search ebay everyday. This toy is extremely rare, and only know a few people on he internet who own them. I was wondering if there was a way or service available that helps in locating very rare toys for collectors, or if the admins of this website have any good advice as well. Any help that can be provided is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

hi,

I am currently looking for the Crash Action Police Car from the Super Mario Bros Movie toyline made by ERTL. I remember walking around K-Mart and Richway Department stores in the toy aisle and they sold these on an endcap display. I think it measured around 12 inches wide and was about 8 or 9 inches tall. I'm guesstimating the size because I last saw it when I was a kid and now I'm 40 yrs old. It came out in the 70's. Made of plastic. It came with two different colored plastic racecars that you placed at the top of the track and then let go so they could race to the bottom of what seemed like a figure eight shape. The plastic racecars were molded one piece and had a ball bearing attached to the bottom of each car so they would roll from the top of the track to the bottom. First one to the bottom won. It was a real simple toy, but I always loved that toy and would love to have it again if anyone knows where I might find one. Came across a guy at a classic toy show who knew exactly what I was talking about because he had one for sale, but didn't have it with him. Of course I lost his number after the show and never got to contact him about it and I don't remember his name.
Please help me find this toy. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been trying to finda small racetrack toy that I had when I was a kid. Everything I'm looking up points in that direction, though sadly if that's the case you'll have an extremely hard time tracking any down. Apparently MAC Men are really rare, specifically the MAC Mountain playset.

Could they have been MAC Men? The action figures were about 2 inches tall with visible tongue and groove type joints. I believe "Commando" may have been in the name. The playset was a depiction of a camp where these action figures would train. There was a Zip Line, a training course, etc. That's all I can remember. It was pretty big if I recall. Lots of pieces.
I don't believe it was GI Joe - about 80% sure it was not.
I'd appreciate some help finding the playset or even just knowing the name and/or manufacturer.

I’m looking for an action figure playset from the mid to late seventies.
