Patriotic Board Games to enjoy this 4th of July!

This 4th of July before, after or even during your parties why not engage in some good old fashioned board game fun?!

Turns out there are a lot of interesting patriotic board games you could enjoy with your friends. To be honest, I haven’t heard of them but that’s why we want to share them with you. Take a look at a couple of the games we’ve found! If it’s too late to get it shipped to you- perhaps a local toy store will have it in stock. Worst case, keep these in mind for Flag Day, or any other patriotic holiday in the future 🙂

The Scrambled States of America

Available on Amazon Prime and Walmart

Apparently this particular game was based on a story by Laurie Keller. Created for ages 8 and up, this game aims to help teach and reinforce U.S. geography through riddles and visualizations. It’s a very fast paced game that tests all players knowledge of capitals, nicknames, locations and more. Highly recommended by parents and thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Timeline American History

Available on Amazon

For History buffs you may want to go on and challenge your friends and family to a game of American History. My understanding is this is a very simple game where players 8 and up are playing with a series of cards that each have a historical event. The main objective is to accurately place each card in the correct order of occurrence. A fun game of “which happened first”? It may be the perfect addition to your patriotic celebration.

Lewis and Clark The Expedition

Available at Amazon

Up for a race across America in 1803? Will you be able to reach the Pacific as the renowned surveyors of the Louisiana Purchase Lewis and Clark? There’s only one way to find out. Befriend the natives, survive off of natural resources, and do everything you can to be the first to complete your voyage! Reviews say this is a beautifully illustrated, all-American game you won’t regret playing!
