This year’s special guests include:

• Paige Braddock, creator of Jane’s World and creative director for Charles Schulz’s (Peanuts) studio in Santa Rosa.
• Megan Kelso, author of Squirrel Mother and Girlhero.
• Matt Madden, whose graphic novels include Black Candy and A Fine Mess.

APE founder Dan Vado has commented: “I started the APE because I felt that there was a need for a convention where the artists doing interesting work can display and promote themselves without having to drown out a 50 million watt display by some huge publisher.”
