Maybe I&#039;m being cynical, but the Melissa &amp; Doug &quot;magic&quot; seems to be to copy a nice toy from Europe/US and get it made for them very cheaply in a Chinese factory.  I fail to see why so many go gaga over these obvious copies.  The quality is invariably worse than the original (lower quality woods and Chinese outsourced manufacturing), and there really isn&#039;t any originality, as the concepts are all plagiarized.
