I’ve found a really good website describing how properly selected toys can teach through fun.

One the bottom of each page there are a few paragraphs describing what impact each specific toy will have on childrens mind.

All the toys described on dreamsfactorytoys.com are made of wood.

Carl is VP of Product Testing for our toy store and even though he is only 4, those flashy plastic toys are only good for 5 minutes – he always comes back to his wooden trucks, cars, cranes and building kits.

Wooden toys are fine for very young children who have not yet been affected by television advertising, but the second they do see those “flashy” toys, theres just going to be no interest in the wood ones
